Creating and Tracking Campaign Links

The Campaigns page in your account dashboard is where you create and track campaign links across all of your sites.

A campaign link is a short, shareable URL that redirects to a page on your site with UTM tracking tags attached. Make a unique link for each channel — social posts, email, paid ads, even printed postcards or QR codes — and you'll see exactly which efforts drive traffic and leads.

Before you start

A campaign link redirects through your site's own domain, so the site you're creating a link for needs a custom domain connected. If a site has no mapped domain, the New tracking link button is disabled until you connect one.

Create a campaign link

  1. From your account dashboard, open Campaigns.
  2. Click New tracking link.
  3. Site — choose which site the link points to (if you have more than one).
  4. Target type — pick the kind of content you're linking to (for example a page or a post).
  5. Target — search your site's content and select the exact page or post the link should redirect to.
  6. Source — where the link will be shared (e.g. Facebook, an email newsletter). Pick from the list or choose Other… to enter your own.
  7. Medium — the type of channel (e.g. social, email, paid). Pick from the list or enter your own.
  8. Campaign name — a label so you can recognize this link later (e.g. Spring Newsletter).
  9. Click Create tracking link.

Your new short link appears in the Campaigns list, ready to copy and share.

Track how each link performs

The Campaigns list shows every link across your sites, with the clicks and visitors each one has driven. Use the site filter at the top to focus on a single site.

For any link you can:

  • Copy the short link to paste into a post, email, or ad.
  • Expand the UTM tracking tags to see the exact source, medium, and campaign values attached — handy if you also track campaigns in Google Analytics.
  • Open Details to review the target and settings.

Archiving a link

When a campaign is over, you can archive its link. Archiving stops the link from redirecting, but its stats are kept so you can still look back at how it performed. You'll be asked to confirm before a link is archived.

Link limits

Depending on your plan, each site has a limit on how many active tracking links it can have. The New tracking link form shows how many you've used (e.g. 3 of 10 links used). If you hit the limit, archive links you no longer need or upgrade your plan to create more.
